What you will do
- Own the end-to-end roadmap for a kids and family financial empowerment product, from discovery and requirements through launch and iteration.
- Conduct market research and translate trends, competitive insights, and user needs into product opportunities.
- Develop user stories, personas, and journey maps for children, parents, and guardians.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, credit union partners, and other stakeholders to define and deliver product requirements.
- Lead feature ideation, development, launch, backlog prioritization, and product performance analysis.
- Ensure initiatives meet regulatory requirements for financial products serving minors.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of product management experience in fintech, digital banking, financial wellness, or financial education.
- Demonstrated passion for financial empowerment and education, ideally involving younger audiences, families, or underserved communities.
- Experience managing a product through its full lifecycle, including a 0-to-1 launch, growth, and iteration.
- Strong understanding of financial product compliance and regulations, including COPPA and CFPB guidelines.
- Excellent market research, product planning, user story development, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, finance, education, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience working with financial institutions, credit unions, or community banks.
- Agile/Scrum certification or experience in an Agile environment.
