What you will do

• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to identify workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate customer needs into detailed technical requirements, API behaviors, data models, and integration patterns.
• Lead structured discovery processes for technical challenges, using data to prioritize impactful opportunities.
• Own the full requirements lifecycle, including documentation, validation, and acceptance criteria.
• Build internal tools and automated workflows using AI-assisted development, no-code platforms, or scripting.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of strategic decisions.
• 2+ years of product management experience in fintech (debt, payments, credit, lending, or financial infrastructure).
• Ability to read API specifications, understand data models, and translate them into product requirements.
• Experience creating technical specifications that enable engineering teams to execute effectively.
• Experience building automated workflows or lightweight solutions using AI, no-code tools, or coding.
• Must be based in Canada or the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer financial data, credit systems, or lending infrastructure.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FCRA, SOC 2, or PCI.
• Knowledge of SQL and workflow automation tools like Zapier or Make.
