What you will do

• Own the roadmap for a consumer lending product area from discovery through delivery and iteration.
• Run continuous discovery using customer interviews, usage analytics, and partner collaboration to identify high-value problems.
• Write PRDs and user stories that enable engineering teams to build confidently.
• Drive agile delivery ceremonies, maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to team OKRs, and define/track product KPIs.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, Sales, Customer Success, and Compliance as the product expert for the domain.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI/ML-assisted decisioning, intelligent automation, and API extensibility; champion UX and API-first design patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant product management experience.
• Proven ability to own a product area end-to-end (discovery, definition, delivery, iteration).
• Experience managing API-integrated software products with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong command of agile methodologies and modern product discovery practices (e.g., Jobs-to-Be-Done, continuous discovery).
• Analytical mindset with comfort using data and product analytics tools to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complexity and align stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Domain experience in consumer lending, loan origination systems (LOS), or financial institution software.
• Familiarity with API/integration products and platform extensibility for developer needs.
• Exposure to AI/ML in product contexts with thoughtful evaluation of where intelligent automation adds value.
• Experience working with or selling to banks, credit unions, or other regulated financial institutions.
• Working knowledge of consumer lending regulations (TILA, ECOA, fair lending, CFPB guidance).
