TL;DR

Electrician (Infrastructure): Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and components for government contracts with an accent on complex installations and system troubleshooting. Location: Onsite in Tysons, VA. Active Secret clearance required.

Salary: $60,000 - $180,000 USD

What you will do

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, and components according to blueprints.
• Install and mount electronic controls, panels, sensors, and perform interlock wiring.
• Diagnose and correct malfunctioning systems and components using specialized test equipment.
• Troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.
• Inspect installation sites and study work orders to determine material requirements.
• Handle a travel requirement of approximately 50%.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance is mandatory.
• Journeyman's license is required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the electrical industry.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation for travel and onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience leading teams on large, complex installation projects.
• Ability to document daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and Safety Audits.
• Experience with head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
• Proficiency in performing take-offs from project drawings.
• Experience forecasting and managing project labor hours.
