What you will do

• Provide technical support for aircraft carrier hull, mechanical, electrical, aviation, and electronic shipboard systems.
• Develop, manage, and refine non-nuclear maintenance and modernization plans for aircraft carrier availabilities.
• Verify technical requirements, maintenance periodicities, and configuration data for assigned maintenance requirements.
• Collect, manage, and analyze maintenance, risk, and material-condition data.
• Assist with life-cycle strategies for aircraft carrier distributive systems and selected components.
• Develop, maintain, and report required metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Active U.S. Department of Defense SECRET security clearance required.
• Knowledge of aircraft carrier maintenance philosophy, ship installation drawings, reliability-centered maintenance principles, and ship operations.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of professional experience.
• Data analytics and maintenance or modernization experience involving aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, or maintenance.
