Location: Texas and various other US locations. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided. Travel up to 75% required.
Compensation: Up to $110/hour or $158,852 – $230,000 per year (depending on locality).

What you will do
- Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on power systems up to 500kV.
- Conduct power system studies, including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
- Test and calibrate microprocessor, solid-state, and electromechanical protective relays.
- Analyze test results and author comprehensive engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical failures under time-critical conditions.
- Mentor Level I/II technicians and serve as technical lead on multi-discipline project teams.
Requirements
- NETA Level III or Level IV Certification (current and in good standing).
- 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing experience in medium/high voltage environments.
- Expert knowledge of NETA MTS and ATS standards.
- Proficiency with test equipment: Doble, Megger, Omicron, Dranetz, and SKF.
- Ability to interpret one-line/three-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel up to 75%.
Nice to have
- NETA Level IV Certification.
- NICET Certification.
- Experience with SF6 breaker maintenance.
- Degree in Power Systems Engineering or related field.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience on testing projects.
