What you will do

• Build and maintain participation and residual ultimate models for theatrical products.
• Support cash forecasting and budgeting for participation and residual obligations.
• Interpret complex legal agreements and translate contractual terms into financial models and forecasts.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Controllership, Strategic Planning, Legal, and Business Affairs.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls and drive process improvements across the ultimate process.
• Provide strategic financial insights and support ad hoc requests and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in entertainment finance, participations, or accounting.
• Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and interpreting legal agreements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the Universal City office at least four days per week under the hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP and participations systems.
• Experience supporting theatrical participation deals in the PARIS system.
• Entertainment finance or residuals experience.
