Salary: $135,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Manage accounting and governance for the Central Services Agreement between hirify.global and NBCUniversal.
• Lead accounting operations for the Content Distribution business, including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end close activities, balance sheet integrity, and cross-brand transaction accounting.
• Drive accounting process improvements, standardization, and ERP implementation initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Legal, and external auditors to resolve complex accounting matters.
• Ensure strict compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal accounting policies.

Requirements

• CPA certification is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in complex organizations.
• Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and SOX compliance.
• Ability to interpret complex contracts and translate terms into appropriate accounting treatments.
• Must be able to work from the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office at least 3 days per week.
• Excellent communication and project management skills to lead cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Big Four or public company accounting experience.
• Experience in media, entertainment, advertising sales, or content distribution.
• Strong systems aptitude with ERP platforms and close-management tools.
