Salary: $118,700–$169,800 USD per annum, plus a potential sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop mechanics, welders, electrical and instrumentation technicians, and storekeepers.
• Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities with Operations, including preventive and corrective work, backlogs, schedules, and quality assurance.
• Provide technical leadership for boilers, turbines, pumps, motors, conveyors, rotating machinery, electrical systems, and other plant equipment.
• Own the long-term maintenance plan and lead scheduled and unscheduled outage planning and execution.
• Improve reliability-centered, predictive, condition-based, and preventive maintenance programs using CMMS data and equipment history.
• Manage budgets, spare parts, contractors, procedures, safety documentation, failure investigations, and workforce development.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of maintenance experience in power generation, waste-to-energy, manufacturing, chemical processing, refining, mining, metals, pulp and paper, or a comparable heavy-industrial environment.
• Experience supervising or leading industrial maintenance personnel and working with multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of boilers, steam or gas turbines, pumps, motors, conveyors, rotating equipment, and mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, mechanical integrity, reliability programs, CMMS platforms, budgeting, and contractor coordination.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis, develop procedures and work packages, and apply applicable safety, environmental, labor, and regulatory requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong leadership, communication, organizational, and coaching skills required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Waste-to-energy, biomass, utility, or power-generation maintenance experience.
• Experience with ALM, MMM, Experion, or similar industrial control systems.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, RCM, RCFA, FMEA, NERC, NFPA, OSHA, or NEC requirements.
• Experience with thermo-mechanical treatment operations and solid-waste processing systems.
