Salary: $96,921–$161,843 annually in Colorado and $92,516–$154,487 annually in Minnesota, depending on location, qualifications, and experience.

What you will do

• Create, modify, and maintain electrical drawings, technical documentation, and 2D/3D project deliverables using CAD, BIM, MicroStation, and other Bentley tools.
• Develop electrical designs for power generation facilities, including duct banks, cable trays, grounding, lighting, and related systems.
• Apply advanced engineering principles to complex design assignments, calculations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and project documentation.
• Review design inputs and deliverables for quality, accuracy, code compliance, consistency, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design groups, project teams, clients, and field activities to support project execution.
• Provide technical guidance, training, oversight, presentations, and process improvement support to other engineering technicians.

Requirements

• At least 11 years of related work experience is typically required.
• Associate degree in drafting or an engineering design-related technology is required.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design practices, project budgets, and schedules.
• Experience with industry-standard electrical design tools, including Bentley MicroStation and related Bentley software.
• Must work from one of the listed United States office locations; relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.
• Ability to complete applicable background, drug screening, and motor vehicle record checks during pre-employment onboarding.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering design-related technology.
• Experience with AGI32 for lighting modeling and illumination calculations.
