What you will do

• Develop comprehensive electrical and control system concepts for medium- and low-voltage systems and power distribution networks.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including circuit diagrams, load calculations, and protection coordination studies.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, and automation teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems and battery systems.
• Coordinate technical and commercial objectives with customers, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide on-site technical expertise during equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and final acceptance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems to ensure reliable operation of marine engine and power generation equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• 10 years of professional experience in planning and designing electrical systems for industrial facilities, power plants, or marine applications.
• Solid knowledge of medium- and low-voltage systems and international standards such as IEC and NEC.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD, or comparable CAD tools.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Houston, Texas.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of control engineering principles and fieldbus communication systems (Modbus RTU/TCP, CANbus).
