What you will do

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve pipeline and revenue targets within allocated territories.
• Implement tailored sales plays to capture market opportunities in Data Engineering and optimize customer platform use.
• Collaborate directly with customers to translate technical needs into insights for the product roadmap.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Data Engineering and Data Lakehouse capabilities for executive-level strategic discussions.
• Partner with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Field CTOs to drive engagements from discovery to deployment.
• Analyze and report on sales performance metrics to optimize regional forecasting and consumption.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 6 years of sales experience consistently exceeding targets in the enterprise market.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Lakehouse, Ingestion, and Transformation technologies.
• Proven track record of managing complex sales processes and closing new client relationships independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior executives and technical decision-makers.
• Ability to operate effectively across cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Sales Engineering.

• Experience in overlay sales roles or driving product consumption via specific workloads.
• Technical background with a deep understanding of the data space and market.
