What you will do

• Lead and manage Trade Compliance Coordinators, Specialists, and Associates, including workload allocation, coaching, performance reviews, and professional development.
• Oversee trade compliance operations such as HS tariff classification, preferential origin determination, customs compliance audits, and related processes.
• Maintain and implement trade compliance policies, SOPs, work instructions, and governance standards.
• Monitor customs regulations, export controls, sanctions, and international trade requirements, ensuring timely implementation.
• Resolve complex compliance issues, provide practical recommendations, and serve as the first escalation point for operational matters.
• Maintain customer relationships, deliver contractual SLAs and KPIs, and support Trade Compliance service growth and GTM objectives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe.
• Experience leading Trade Compliance professionals and managing team performance.
• Knowledge of customs compliance, HS tariff classification, preferential origin, export controls, sanctions, and international trade regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex compliance issues and develop clear, practical recommendations.
• Strong customer relationship, escalation management, prioritization, and KPI oversight skills.
