What you will do

• Oversee global inbound and outbound freight across EU, China, US, and Central Asia.
• Develop strategic transport routes using road, air, and sea to balance cost and reliability.
• Ensure strict compliance with dangerous goods regulations, particularly for lithium-ion batteries.
• Manage customs processes, including code classification and import declarations.
• Lead and develop a team of logistics specialists while remaining hands-on in daily operations.
• Audit transportation invoices and drive cost-efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in international logistics with direct experience in EU, China, and US freight lanes.
• Expertise in dangerous goods transport (lithium-ion batteries strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and trade compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage external logistics partners and negotiate service agreements.
• Strong data literacy and proficiency in defining and tracking logistics KPIs.
• English: Proficiency required

Nice to have

• IATA certification or equivalent dangerous goods qualification.
• Experience with Cargoson, Workday, or Telema.
• Background in micromobility, consumer electronics, or hardware-intensive operations.
• Track record of using AI tools or automation to streamline logistics workflows.
