What you will do

• Manage fixed asset close activities, reporting, records, classifications, and lifecycle transactions.
• Process asset additions, transfers, disposals, write-offs, depreciation, amortization, and journal entries.
• Monitor assets under construction, capitalization activities, CAPEX management, and capital project accounting.
• Reconcile the fixed asset subledger with the general ledger and maintain accurate financial data.
• Support audits, tax reporting, physical asset verifications, and compliance activities.
• Contribute to SAP enhancements, finance systems improvements, automation, and process harmonization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in fixed asset accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, depreciation methodologies, SOX, and financial controls.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Professional English communication skills and authorization to work in Portugal.
• Experience with multinational companies or shared service environments, ERP implementations, and finance process improvement initiatives.
