What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring full compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Analyze financial data to prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in accounting and tax roles, preferably within an international environment.
• Must be based in Porto, Portugal.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics and advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• English: Fluent (C1) required.
