VP, Practice Leader – Management Liability (Insurance Product Management/Underwriting): Leading the Management Liability product portfolio across USA channels with an accent on product strategy, underwriting excellence, risk selection, pricing, and profitable growth. Focus on building risk evaluation tools, managing portfolio performance, launching competitive insurance solutions, and driving technical excellence across underwriting operations.
Location: Hybrid role requiring two days in the office each week, based in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Hartford, or Boston.
Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year.

What you will do
- Lead the Management Liability product portfolio, setting underwriting strategy, risk appetite, pricing, coverage direction, and growth priorities.
- Own product vision, roadmap, P&L performance, portfolio management, and the full product lifecycle across digital and intermediated channels.
- Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes, industry trends, customer needs, emerging risks, profitability, and loss-ratio insights.
- Build and maintain underwriting tools, including applications, guidelines, risk scoring, data utilization, and authority-management frameworks.
- Partner with distribution, marketing, claims, actuarial, and underwriting operations teams on product launches, go-to-market execution, and continuous improvement.
- Lead technical training, establish underwriting best practices, and influence senior executives, brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Management Liability product management and/or underwriting, including D&O, EPL, Crime, or Fiduciary products.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong commercial knowledge of Management Liability customer segments, competitors, market trends, and regulatory factors.
- Exceptional product visioning, strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, execution, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executives, stakeholders, customers, and brokers.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with two weekly office days in an eligible U.S. location.

- MBA or another advanced degree.
- Lloyd’s of London experience.
- CPCU or RPLU designation.
