What you will do

• Provide onsite support for Java-based web applications in microservices architecture, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of operational issues, mobilizing off-site resources as needed.
• Collaborate with customer and technical teams to integrate solutions with legacy systems and third-party platforms under security requirements.
• Support database operations and optimization using MongoDB and MariaDB.
• Develop enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements on Rocky Linux platforms.
• Handle testing, deployment, monitoring across virtualization (Microsoft Hypervisor) and cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), plus RabbitMQ management.
• Document issues, resolutions, and system health for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in development, integration, and operational troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Java web applications and microservices architectures.
• Experience with MongoDB, MariaDB (configuration, optimization).
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Rocky Linux troubleshooting, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization (Microsoft Hypervisor), and Python scripting.
• Strong communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting intelligence community or defense customers.
• Expertise in secure coding and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Advanced troubleshooting for virtualized/containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
