Lead Business Consultant (IBOR) (Investment Operations/SimCorp Dimension): Delivering major workstreams within investment management software implementation projects for banks, asset managers, and insurers with an accent on IBOR processes, client requirements, and solution design. Focus on configuring and troubleshooting investment operations workflows, coordinating delivery with project managers, and mentoring consultants across complex financial technology implementations.

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid attendance at the SimCorp office twice per week. The role includes travel to client sites of up to 50%.

Salary: CAD 115,040–165,040, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Own major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects focused on investment operations and IBOR.
• Analyze client requirements and processes, then design solutions using global standard offerings.
• Coordinate closely with project managers and act as the primary contact for client questions.
• Monitor, coordinate, and escalate project issues to support successful delivery.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to implementation best practices.
• Exchange expertise internationally and promote improvements across projects.

Requirements

• Experience as an implementation consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, consulting firms, or asset management software vendors.
• Hands-on experience with investment operations, enterprise applications, and multiple IBOR implementations on the buy side.
• Expertise in one or more areas such as asset servicing, cash processing, collateral management, fees, reconciliation, auxiliary and batch jobs, or Communication Server.
• Knowledge of trade processing, confirmation, settlement, financial products, and related accounting.
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to manage deadlines, travel to client sites up to 50%, and attend the Toronto office twice weekly under the hybrid policy.

• Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension.
• Degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or applied sciences.
