Cybersecurity Detection Engineering Specialist (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Evaluate log sources, telemetry feeds, and enrichment data to improve detection quality and coverage.
• Design, test, deploy, and maintain detection rules, frameworks, and supporting technologies.
• Adopt Detection-as-Code practices through Git-based workflows and modern development processes.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated validation, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of detection content.
• Build integrations and workflows across APIs, SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, cloud services, and data repositories.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Incident Response, Platform Engineering, and Development teams to improve detection and investigation workflows.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or automation-focused roles.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, Go, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating platforms and services through APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerized environments, infrastructure technologies, testing methodologies, and secure coding principles.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and approach complex problems collaboratively.
