What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate master services agreements and other complex commercial agreements with enterprise customers.
• Handle partnership, reseller, vendor, licensing, services, and data processing agreements.
• Partner with sales, product, engineering, marketing, and go-to-market teams to close revenue deals.
• Provide practical legal advice, assess risk, and support business decisions.
• Design and improve policies and processes for managing legal and business risk globally.
• Run commercial deals end-to-end and help shape the commercial legal function.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the New York State Bar.
• At least 5 years of combined law firm and in-house experience focused on commercial agreements.
• Experience partnering with sales, guiding negotiations, and closing high-impact enterprise deals.
• Experience drafting and negotiating enterprise licensing, services, and data processing agreements.
• Clear communication with business and technical audiences and the ability to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and AI applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with IP and technology transactions at a large law firm.
• Experience advising growth-stage technology companies on AI or machine learning legal issues.
• Product or privacy counseling experience.
