Location: Onsite at Ellsworth AFB in Ellsworth, South Dakota, during the required duty-hour window; rare work at Wright-Patterson AFB or a contractor facility may be required.

What you will do
- Lead RMF lifecycle activities across the Department of the Air Force financial-management systems portfolio.
- Advise Authorizing Officials, AODRs, program offices, system owners, and technical teams on federal, DoD, and Air Force cybersecurity policy.
- Develop and maintain SSPs, RARs, POA&Ms, control evidence, authorization decision packages, and related records in eMASS and ITIPS.
- Assess security controls, vulnerabilities, mission impact, residual risk, and remediation strategies.
- Coordinate POA&M and vulnerability remediation, validate closure evidence, and report portfolio-level trends and authorization status.
- Prepare leadership briefings, governance materials, Mission Impact Assessments, and recommendations for authorization decisions.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI SSBI clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of RMF and cybersecurity experience, including federal or DoD authorization and continuous-monitoring activities.
- Expert knowledge of federal, DoD, and Air Force cybersecurity policy and its system-level implementation.
- Hands-on experience with eMASS, ITIPS, or equivalent federal authorization and portfolio-governance systems.
- Ability to work primarily onsite at Ellsworth AFB and hold an active DoD 8140 certification.
