Senior Cybersecurity Analyst (RMF)

TL;DR

Senior Cybersecurity Analyst (RMF): Leading the development, review, and maintenance of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and authorization work products for Department of Defense IT systems with an accent on compliance, vulnerability management, and risk analysis. Focus on managing eMASS and ITIPS documentation, conducting security control assessments, and providing formal authorization recommendations to leadership.

Location: Must be based at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, with occasional work at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

What you will do

• Lead RMF activities from control selection through authorization and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, RARs, POA&Ms, and supporting evidence.
• Manage authorization information within eMASS and ITIPS systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and develop risk-based remediation recommendations.
• Prepare formal AO decision staff packages and monthly POA&M status reports.
• Brief leadership on system security status and participate in governance forums.

Requirements

• Must hold DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification.
• Must hold DoD 8140 work role 722-Advanced certification.
• Strong experience in operational support and RMF lifecycle management.
• Ability to work onsite at Ellsworth AFB, SD.
• Availability to work an eight-hour shift between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
