Event Marketing Manager (Cvent/Digital Events): Planning and delivering in-person, digital, and hybrid event experiences that deepen client relationships, with an accent on event technology, vendor coordination, budgeting, and compliance. Location: 100% remote within Canada; current Canadian work authorization is required. The role is associated with the Calgary office and requires occasional travel, approximately 30% of the time, including attendance at events in Canadian and US venues.
Salary: CAD 88,000β111,000 in total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus.

What you will do
- Plan and deliver high-quality in-person, digital, and hybrid events from initial setup through post-event analysis.
- Manage event registration, invitations, ticketing, technology platforms, production, schedules, and on-site delivery.
- Control event budgets, negotiate with vendors, prepare expense reports, and track attendance and performance metrics.
- Coordinate Marketing, Product, Sales, Compliance, Finance, and other internal partners, including portfolio managers and subject matter experts.
- Develop event workflows, risk-management plans, contingency plans, testing procedures, and documented quality assurance sign-offs.
- Improve client experiences through event research, automation, digital solutions, and customer-journey planning.
Requirements
- Current work authorization in Canada is required.
- At least 3 years of corporate event management experience, preferably in financial services.
- Required experience with Cvent for event registration, communications, and reporting.
- Strong organization, project management, planning, budgeting, vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with digital and virtual event platforms, including Cvent and Zoom Events, and with event technology administration and testing.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management and marketing tools, including Adobe Marketo, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
