What you will do

• Prepare journal entries and manage day-to-day corporate accounting activities.
• Support the month-end close process to provide timely and accurate US GAAP compliant financials.
• Build and enhance balance sheet account reconciliation workpapers and perform historical clean-up.
• Collaborate with Finance teams on metrics, flux analysis, forecasting, and monthly reporting packages.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits to ensure successful completion.
• Implement new systems and tools to streamline the close process and build scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or candidate for CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally a mix of public accounting and industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with general ledger functions.
• Experience with financial audit preparation.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office Suite.
• Must be located in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle

Nice to have

• Accounting experience in accruals, investments, ASC 842 leases, cloud computing arrangements, or stock-based compensation.
• Proficiency in SQL, NetSuite, FloQast, Coupa, or Jira.
• Project management experience.
