Payroll Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Oversee accurate and timely payroll operations, including gross pay calculations, deductions, and retirement contributions.
• Manage month-end payroll accounting, including journal entries and financial statements in NetSuite.
• Ensure full compliance with IRS regulations, domestic and international laws, and internal policies.
• Maintain and audit HR/payroll systems to ensure data integrity for employee records, benefits, and taxes.
• Provide technical training and guidance to payroll staff and respond to employee and agency inquiries.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting tax codes and health benefits to implement necessary policy updates.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of processing experience with ADP Workforce for both hourly and salary employees.
• 3-5 years of experience with International payroll and working knowledge of PEO/EOR systems.
• 3-5 years of Accounting Month End experience, including Journal Entry preparation and use of NetSuite.
• Ability to work in office Monday through Thursday every week.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of retirement systems (e.g., 401(k), IRC 125, HSA) and tax withholding.
