Electrical Engineer (Automotive)

Electrical Engineer (Automotive): Developing and supporting electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical production systems for powertrain and charging technologies with an accent on PLC programming, robotics, machine optimization, and technical documentation. Focus on troubleshooting complex automation systems, improving equipment reliability, and leading root-cause analysis, corrective actions, FMEA, PPAP, and customer quality activities.

What you will do

• Develop and modify programs for production equipment and optimize machining, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, HMIs, CNC equipment, and motion systems.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, management, customers, manufacturers, and vendors to implement processes and resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain work instructions, reports, process diagrams, and prototype and serialization records.
• Lead quality initiatives including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, FMEA, PPAP activities, audits, and customer quality issue resolution.
• Use CAD to create mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and prepare analyses and proposals for process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, HMIs, CNC, motion systems, and CAD.
• Experience supporting mechanical and electromechanical products and production systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
