Senior Software Developer (macOS)

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Salary: CAD 107,000–157,300 base annually, with potential bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and build advanced AutoCAD functionality for macOS.
• Contribute as an individual developer within a high-performance product team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and platform teams to define and deliver new features.
• Improve application performance and development efficiency.
• Estimate project schedules and deliver work according to specifications and quality standards.
• Write unit tests to ensure code robustness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong C++ programming skills with object-oriented analysis and design experience.
• Strong Swift or Objective-C programming skills on macOS or iOS.
• Experience with Xcode and Cocoa frameworks.
• Technical knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and implementation.
• Strong analytical, product-level design, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Web technology knowledge.
• Graphics development background and Metal knowledge.
• Familiarity with ObjectARX or LISP.
