Senior Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid with some in-office time expected

Base salary: CAD 120,000–150,000, CAD 149,500–187,000, or CAD 185,000–231,500, depending on geographical market and qualifications.

What you will do

• Build and maintain iOS features used by millions of people.
• Improve the codebase through continuous refactoring and architecture improvements.
• Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization challenges.
• Extend and implement APIs.
• Write and maintain unit tests.
• Run projects end to end and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• B.S., M.S., PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Experience with networking, storage, CocoaPods, systems, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile applications.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor across the software development lifecycle, including design, code generation, testing, monitoring, and release.
