Senior iOS Engineer (AI)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid with some in-office time expected

Salary: CAD 120,000–150,000; CAD 149,500–187,000; CAD 185,000–231,500 annually, plus equity opportunities

What you will do

• Build and maintain mobile features used by millions of people.
• Improve the iOS codebase through continuous refactoring.
• Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization problems.
• Extend and implement APIs.
• Implement unit tests and keep iOS development practices up to date.
• Run projects end to end and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and CocoaPods.
• Knowledge of systems and object-oriented programming.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile applications.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor throughout the software development lifecycle.
