Senior Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States; hybrid office setup

Base salary: $124,700–$208,850 per year, excluding equity, performance incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Architect, build, iterate, and maintain the iOS mobile application.
• Own high-visibility product areas and contribute to API creation, design, and product decisions.
• Develop simple, elegant solutions to complex mobile application problems.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to create intuitive user experiences.
• Write maintainable, high-quality code and unit tests covering reliability, usability, and edge cases.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing iOS applications.
• Fluency with Swift and a strong foundation in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience designing and using RESTful web services for connected applications.
• Understanding of Git or comparable code-versioning tools and basic unit testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Objective-C experience.
• Experience with MVVM, Swift Concurrency, and SwiftUI.
• Strong engineering results and interesting hobby projects.
