Location: Hybrid/Remote with required travel for assessments in the Southern and North West regions of the UK
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

What you will do
- Manage a caseload of Apprenticeship Assessments to ensure timely completion to the expected standard.
- Conduct 3 to 4 face-to-face assessments per week and produce accurate written feedback reports.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards for Early Years Practitioner (L2), Educator (L3), and Lead Practitioner (L5).
- Perform internal quality assurance (IQA) tasks and participate in moderation and standardization meetings.
- Support the training and development of freelance associate assessors and external customers.
- Manage own ongoing CPD relevant to assessment and internal quality assurance practices.
Requirements
- Must have held a role in Child Care provision for at least 3 years (within the last 3 years).
- Hold a relevant Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1, TAQA equivalent) or EPA qualification.
- Must have a clear and current DBS check.
- Functional Skills Level 2 English and maths qualifications (or equivalent).
- Experience in assessing work-based learning and producing clear, concise written reports.
- Must have access to own transport and willingness to travel as the business needs.
Nice to have
- Hold a relevant Internal Quality Assurer Qualification (D34, V1).
- Experience with End-Point Assessment (EPA) delivery.
- Understanding of supervising others to deliver Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
- Ability to assess Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Level 4).
- Experience engaging with External Quality Assurance activities.
