What you will do

• Develop and improve assembly and manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, fabrication processes, and quality control standards.
• Implement lean processes such as Standard Work, SMED, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen.
• Act as a primary liaison between Design Engineering and Operations to facilitate production processes.
• Design workspace layouts and plan space requirements for maximum efficiency, including material handling equipment.
• Analyze production times and costs for new products and manage financial justification for CapEx projects.
• Ensure company compliance with all federal and state environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years of related professional experience.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or other CAD/CAM products for plant layouts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work frequent overtime.
