Manufacturing Process Engineer

What you will do

• Review production processes, collect and analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve quality, cost, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives involving standardized work, process documentation, 5S, Lean manufacturing, and problem solving.
• Help develop and implement manufacturing solutions, including work cells, fixtures, jigs, tooling, and process improvements.
• Assist with facility and production layouts for workflow improvements, new product introductions, and efficient use of manufacturing space.
• Participate in safety and ergonomic assessments and help implement risk-reduction improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and apply engineering principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field; recent graduates and candidates with internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with motivation and willingness to learn.
• Must already have permanent US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, SAP, or other manufacturing and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, SQL, coding, standardized work instructions, process documentation, tooling, layouts, safety, or ergonomics.
