Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Optimize coating-plant manufacturing processes, methods, production rates, yields, costs, and changeovers.
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving process capability and quality standards.
• Recommend equipment upgrades, product changes, alternative materials, and cost-reduction solutions.
• Partner with customers, sales, and operations to improve products and commercialize new products and manufacturing processes.
• Create part numbers and build customer specifications using accurate material and converting operations.
• Analyze labor, material, and lead-time requirements to support pricing, management decisions, and new product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably chemical, polymer/plastics, or mechanical engineering.
• Entry-level experience through five years of experience, including hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and the ability to apply statistical process and quality control.
• Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering results on time and within budget.
• Willingness to work around hazardous chemicals and wear a respirator when required.

Nice to have

• Data-analysis experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• AutoCAD drafting experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
