What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain user interface functionality using C++, Qt 6, Qt Quick, and QML.
- Develop reusable and scalable QML components and integrate them with C++ backend services and embedded hardware.
- Take technical ownership of complex features from initial requirements through implementation and delivery.
- Investigate and resolve crashes, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks on embedded target layers.
- Design asynchronous and multithreaded application components to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement Figma-based designs and participate in architecture discussions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial C++ development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Qt 6, Qt Quick, and QML.
- Knowledge of modern C++ (C++17/20), RAII, concurrency, and memory management.
- Experience developing UI applications for embedded Linux devices using CMake.
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher required.
- Location: Must be based in Poland, Romania, or Ukraine.
Nice to have
- Experience with Yocto, Wayland, EGLFS, or D-Bus.
- Proficiency with Google Test, Google Mock, Valgrind, or QML Profiler.
- Experience optimizing applications for devices with limited CPU and memory resources.
- Domain experience in IoT, HVAC, or Smart Home products.
