What you will do
- Design, implement, test, review, and maintain scalable features using modern object-oriented C++ and the C++ Standard Library.
- Develop and optimize parametric modeling, geometric design workflows, and other production-grade CAD capabilities for Fusion.
- Apply computational geometry and geometric modeling principles to performance-sensitive desktop software.
- Use AI-assisted tools for planning, coding, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review while validating output for quality and security.
- Own features and components from design through deployment, support, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Experience Design, Quality Assurance, and distributed engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in computer science, software engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2β4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented C++ skills, modern C++ practices, STL, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and disciplined validation of generated code.
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM, computational geometry, or geometric modeling, or equivalent experience with geometry-heavy or mathematically intensive software.
- Experience with Git and Jira, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience developing CAD or CAM desktop applications.
- Cross-platform development for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Experience designing APIs and SDKs.
- Familiarity with Qt, CMake, and Python.
