Salary: $189,000 - $240,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain infotainment UI applications using modern C++ (11/14/17).
• Implement scalable UI frameworks across multiple vehicle programs on QNX, Linux, and Android platforms.
• Debug and optimize rendering pipelines, startup performance, power moding, and IPC communication.
• Integrate vehicle signals and services into UI applications.
• Collaborate with System Engineering, UX, and Product teams for feature bring-up and milestone deliveries.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, static code analysis, and CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and object-oriented design.
• Experience with UI/Graphics frameworks such as Qt/QML, Altia, Skia, OpenGL, or Vulkan.
• Deep understanding of multithreading, STL, memory management, and IPC mechanisms.
• Proficiency in debugging complex issues using GDB, Valgrind, or memory analyzers.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model (reporting to office at least 3 times a week) in Austin, Mountain View, or Warren.

Nice to have

• Experience with Android application/UI development or Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of GoLang services or graphics compositors like Wayland/Weston.
• Familiarity with CAN/CAN FD vehicle networks and SOME/IP protocols.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
