What you will do

• Manage general corporate needs including governance, intercompany matters, and subsidiary formation.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial, licensing, and technology agreements.
• Provide legal support for the integration of acquired studios.
• Develop and maintain scalable legal processes and corporate compliance programs.
• Collaborate with global teams and coordinate with outside counsel to support international initiatives.
• Offer day-to-day legal support for North American based studios and offices.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in a top-tier law firm or within a global in-house legal team.
• Experience with corporate governance, tax matters, and employee equity incentive plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively across different time zones and cultures.

Nice to have

• Experience in the video games, entertainment, IP, or software technology industries.
• Proficiency in using generative AI to perform legal work and manage projects.
• Experience with payments, tax, accounting, or employment law.
• Knowledge of Korean or other foreign languages.
