What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify and capture new business opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a regional team of sales professionals through coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, ensuring a consistent process.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors and channel/MSP partners.
• Monitor pipeline health and report key metrics to senior leadership using Salesforce.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing a sales team in Japan specifically within the cybersecurity industry.
• Proven background with a cybersecurity vendor is mandatory.
• Experience with B2B sales via a 2-tier distribution model.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity products (Network security, Endpoint protection, Cloud security, MDR, NDR).
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
• Ability to travel within Japan as needed.
