Regional Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead high-touch pre-sales technical activities in collaboration with sales teams and partners.
• Technically qualify opportunities and manage POV (Proof of Value) evaluations for end-user accounts.
• Develop comprehensive Security Assessment Reports based on POV outcomes.
• Train and enable distributors and partners to successfully deploy POVs and generate assessment reports.
• Act as a technical liaison between partners, customers, and corporate headquarters.
• Monitor regional market developments and competitive situations to achieve revenue targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales engineering or the security domain.
• Deep expertise in endpoint or network security (AV, EDR, SIEM, Firewall, HIPS/IDS).
• Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, Linux, and Mobile OS (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, DNS, and VLANs.
• Ability to travel as required within the region.

Nice to have

• Experience with malware analysis, threat intelligence, or sandbox analysis.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or SANS.
• Experience with SOC Operations and IT Process Automation.
