What you will do

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Beaker AP and CP applications.
• Analyze laboratory and business requirements and translate them into Epic application solutions.
• Support specimen collection, accessioning, processing, testing, result reporting, and pathology workflows.
• Perform application build, upgrades, enhancements, integrated testing, validation, and go-live support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with laboratory leaders, pathologists, clinicians, and IT teams while maintaining documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Epic Beaker applications.
• Active Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) certification is mandatory.
• Active Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) certification is mandatory.
• Experience supporting laboratory operations, pathology workflows, and laboratory information systems.
• Experience with application configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare informatics, medical technology, laboratory sciences, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with instrument interfaces and laboratory integrations.
• Knowledge of HL7 messaging and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Experience supporting laboratory implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
• Understanding of quality assurance, regulatory, and laboratory accreditation requirements.
• Experience in hospital laboratories, pathology departments, or healthcare organizations.
