What you will do

• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and design Epic build configurations aligned with operational goals.
• Manage system implementation projects using waterfall or agile methodologies.
• Configure records, master files, and security tools while maintaining environment parity.
• Develop and execute unit, integrated, and UAT test plans to ensure system reliability.
• Design and implement customized training programs and maintain the CareConnect curriculum.
• Collaborate with interface teams on HL7, FHIR, and other exchange workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ohio, USA
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment (or 10+ years in lieu of degree).
• Epic Certifications in Compass Rose, Healthy Planet, Healthy Planet Link, EpicCare Link, or Care Everywhere.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, change control, SDLC, and project management methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and operational stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Current Epic Certification or Proficiency in modules like HB, PB, Cadence, Referrals, Orders, ClinDoc, or Clarity.
• 3+ years of Epic build and configuration experience.
• Experience with SQL, Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, or reporting tools.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
