What you will do

• Gather and refine requirements from stakeholders to design Epic build aligned with operational goals and policy.
• Configure records, master files, and security classes while maintaining environment parity.
• Develop and execute unit, integrated, and UAT test plans to resolve defects and ensure regression coverage.
• Collaborate with interface teams on HL7, FHIR, and other exchange workflows.
• Manage small-scale system implementations and upgrades using waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Mentor junior analysts and create comprehensive system configuration documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ohio.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Administration, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment.
• Proven experience with Epic applications and healthcare clinical or revenue cycle workflows.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing.
• Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC practices, and system governance.

Nice to have

• Current Epic Certification in modules such as HB, PB, Cadence, Referrals, Orders, or ClinDoc.
• Experience with SQL, Clarity, Caboodle, or SlicerDicer.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and interface testing.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience in a large hospital setting or with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
