What you will do

• Monitor account activity daily using fraud detection software to prevent check, ACH, wire, and deposit fraud.
• Investigate suspicious transactions and open fraud cases in Verafin upon discovery of fraudulent activity.
• Review mobile deposits and Remote Deposit Capture transactions for high-risk patterns and endorsement requirements.
• Collaborate with account officers to restrict fraudulent accounts and reduce the bank's financial exposure.
• Conduct fund recovery processes after fraud losses and manage bank-to-bank claims.
• Analyze surveillance footage and ATM deposits to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a financial institution with thorough knowledge of fraud prevention.
• Strong understanding of banking business functions and processes.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and banking software.
• Must be based in Ruston, LA.
