What you will do

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for new product features.
• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and subject matter experts to align requirements with product strategy and regulatory needs.
• Analyze system outputs and large data sets to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for product or process improvements.
• Map business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Support Quality Assurance by reviewing test cases and validating requirements coverage.
• Engage with clients to gather feedback and support product roadmap discussions.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Financial Services, Business Analysis, Product Support, or QA.
• Must be based in or able to work from Waltham, MA.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, options, mutual funds, and ETFs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and complex analysis.
• Experience creating business process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other BI and reporting tools.
• Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management platforms.
• Knowledge of cost basis reporting, tax-lot accounting, and IRS regulations.
• Practical experience leveraging AI technologies for research, documentation, and data analysis.
