Salary: CAD 140,000–205,700 base salary for Canada-based roles

What you will do

• Manage and coach engineers building customer-facing frontend, backend, and client integrations.
• Translate product and research priorities into engineering plans, milestones, and predictable delivery.
• Lead shared data representations, API-first integration surfaces, developer tooling, and platform initiatives.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery, including client architecture, performance, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Ensure observability, reliability, governance, access controls, and safety across AI-enabled flows.
• Recruit and onboard engineers while partnering with Product, ML/Research, UX, Security/Privacy, and Platform teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production software.
• Experience coaching and growing individual contributors and leading engineering teams.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with a strong emphasis on frontend and client engineering.
• Experience building customer-facing UIs, client integrations, developer tools, libraries, or integration surfaces.
• Experience working with ML/AI or research teams to productionize capabilities.
• Practical knowledge of cloud-native development, CI/CD, operational practices, and cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with orchestration frameworks or model-invocation patterns.
• JavaScript/TypeScript, React, component architecture, and frontend test automation.
• Performance-critical client work, WebGL/OpenGL/three.js, 3D visualization, or C#/.NET desktop integrations.
• Knowledge of browser developer tools, logging, performance monitoring, and client/server testing frameworks.
• Experience with security, privacy, compliance, or AEC design and engineering workflows.
