Salary: $146,000 — $201,300 CAD

What you will do

• Lead and coach a global team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Own the evolution of load testing frameworks, focusing on modularity, scalability, and developer experience.
• Define strategy for test dataset generation to accurately reflect production traffic patterns.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to implement performance and resiliency best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on performance analysis, monitoring, and incident RCA processes.
• Manage cross-team projects with high business impact and define the team's strategic roadmap.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Toronto, Canada.
• Prior experience managing a globally diverse engineering team.
• Deep expertise in load testing frameworks like k6, Gatling, or Locust.
• Hands-on experience with test dataset generation, data masking, and synthetic data strategies.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Proficiency in the JavaScript ecosystem (NodeJS/TypeScript) and observability tools.
