Design Engineer (React)

What you will do

• Own and scale the design system across Figma and code using React and Tailwind.
• Ship pixel-perfect interfaces and production-ready code from rough sketches.
• Define and implement new interaction paradigms for AI-driven tools.
• Establish and maintain high standards for front-end architecture and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to iterate on product ideas.

Requirements

• Experience as a Design Engineer or Frontend Engineer with strong design skills.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
• Strong visual and interaction instincts with a focus on detail and motion.
• Ability to prototype quickly in Figma and code.
• Expertise in CSS animations, transitions, and layout techniques.
• Must be based in or able to work in-person from the New York office.

Nice to have

• Experience with GSAP, R3F, Three.js, or WebGL.
• Infrastructure knowledge.
