What you will do

• Lead the engineering effort for reusable UI components using ReactJS and TypeScript for the design system.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to define the vision and roadmap for the UI component library.
• Architect scalable and efficient UI component frameworks with next-generation build systems.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers to ensure code quality.
• Continuously optimize the performance, accessibility, and usability of the design system's components.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work from the San Jose, California office 3 days per week.
• 8 to 12+ years of professional experience in front-end and UI engineering, with heavy focus on ReactJS.
• Deep mastery of JavaScript, CSS positioning/box-model, Semantic HTML, and data visualization libraries like D3.
• Strong proficiency with build tools, package managers, and monorepos including Nx, npm, and Git.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI-driven solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience designing intelligent UI component frameworks that incorporate generative AI capabilities.
• Expertise in advanced performance optimization and component composition using a layered-cake approach.
