Frontend Engineer (React)

TL;DR

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Develop performant user interfaces using React for data-rich applications.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services via REST and GraphQL.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and patterns for complex workflows.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive, mission-critical interfaces.
• Optimize rendering performance for large datasets and real-time updates.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architectural design discussions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• 3–5+ years of experience in frontend engineering.
• Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience building data-driven web applications and working with asynchronous APIs.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with map-based or geospatial tools like Mapbox, Leaflet, or Deck.gl.
• Familiarity with WebGL or advanced visualization frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Background in real-time systems or operational dashboards.
• Active or prior security clearance.
